My Uncle Jesse made his transition - the last of the original Scott Boys - the last elder. He held out as long as he could. He never told me he was experiencing health issues - so this was a total shock to me. I guess I understand why he didn't because I was always telling him he could not leave me...however...I wish he had told me no matter how painful it would have been for me...I would have flown to CA for his birthday instead of thinking I had all this time to celebrate with him when I got there for my scheduled visit in a few months. I love you Uncle - thank you for making time for me. Getting to know you was a highlight in my life and a blessing.
